Hmm, it increases crit damage and wing clip is nifty, but aimed shot is of limited use in the battlefield. Mobility has been the key to being successful on the battlefield. I watch othe...

Page 2 Hello again. I'm assuming that, if you're reading this, you've already drained all the syrupy goodness from parts one and two of this star-hording extravaganza, and are now ready for the final push against that evil sod Bowser. I hope so, because things get trickier from now own. There's now just the Engine Room to complete for the final Grand Star (plus the crisp bonus taste of the Garden), and the big showdown with Bowser. If you've been doing as you're told, you should only be a few stars shy of the 60 required to complete the game, but that doesn't mean we're going to slack off now, as there's plenty more than that to be had.So, come on. Head up to the walkway between the Library and Kitchen and shimmy up that starbeam to the Engine Room. We've still got a Princess to save. The Engine RoomGold Leaf GalaxyStar #1Star Bunnies On The HuntDead easy, this one. First of all, find the five pull star pieces. It's...

UI Improvements And YouBlizzard typically has never been too proud to recognize when someone else has an idea better than what they've come up with. Over the nearly-two years that WoW has been live, they've occasionally adopted some features of the more popular UI Addons into the actual game interface-Scrolling Combat Text and CT Raid Assist to name the two most prominent. It appears they've kept that up. In "Interface Options" you now c...

All that anyone remembers is that SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) was the company that marketed it into the AAA title that it became. There are SOE haters and SOE fanbois. One thing that they have in common is the knowledge that SOE isn't going away any day soon.C|NET recently took a look atvthe publishing giant and talked to John Smedley, the president of SOE. Smeds had this to say,"Right now our revenue is almost all subscriptions," John Smedley, the unit's president, said in an interview. "In two years, we would like to see no more than 50 percent of our revenue coming from subscriptions, and five years from now we think less than 10 percent of our revenue will come from subscription sources."The article was timely given our Free Realms: Preview Straight From SOE Gamer Day piece that was posted today. Smeds had this to say about Free Realms,"In general, Smedley wants to replace subscriptions with a combination of microtransactions, advertising and what he calls the "velvet rope" approach. All three concepts may come to bear in Free Realms, which the company hopes to release on PCs this coming winter and on the PlayStation 3 next summer. While the company's traditional fantasy an...
